To Michael Child, firstly thank you for the most interesting book Mockett's Journal, absolutely fascinating.
I would like to add a few words now re my sightings in the natural world.
Yesterday evening a beautiful one indeed, Peacock Butterflies were on the Buddlea Bushes and I stood and stared. Bumble Bees on the Lavender sprays, everywhere.
Swallows skimming the Cattle Bean crops, Swifts encircling the church spire, high at the top.
Our Blackbird thinks he is a Nightingale, his melodic notes heard at just after three this
morning, his pretty song lulled me off to sleep again, thank goodness.
Thank you for all my friends and acquaintances for their words.
